Sophisticated Weddings Features Shake and Share Media at NYBFW Preview Event

I know what you’re thinking. Someone over at S&S hasn’t had enough coffee today and keeps typing a “B” in NYFW. But, in our industry, New York Bridal Fashion Week is just as big of a deal as the iconic event that takes place just a few weeks prior! So we were ecstatic when Sophisticated Weddings (we love you guys!) asked us to partner up for their NYBFW preview at Ravel Hotel. And, of course, it’s “go big or go home” so we had to create the ultimate wedding video booth experience!

The invite-only event for NYC’s top planners and soon-to-be brides was held in Ravel’s new Grand Estate Ballroom. To adhere to the bridal theme, we decided to use lace in our backdrop–a softer touch than our usual fabrics. With custom props in hand, guests took a faux walk down the aisle and a 5-second dance party.

One of the features of the preview was an array of models showcasing the trending styles in bridal gowns. There was no way we’d miss a chance to get this fashion in front of our camera, so we invited them into the booth to create their own editorial wedding video. If we have anything to do with it, our In-Motion Video Booth will become the next must-have entertainment at NYC weddings!
