Shake and Share’s InMotion Booth is a Hit at the 2018 theCURVYcon Cocktail Reception

New York Fashion Week has arrived! Immaculately dressed, camera-ready New Yorkers makes this our favorite (two) time(s) of the year! To kick off NYFW, Shake and Share Media hosted one of our popular InMotion Video Booths at theCURVYcon’s opening cocktail reception. theCURVYcon is a three day event that connects plus size brands and influencers to celebrate body positivity and full-figured confidence. Our team knew that we needed to give each of these beautiful, exuberant women their own glam moment!

During any NYFW event, the focus is on individual style–hair, make up, and, of course, fashion. In order to highlight these features, we kept the background dark and the lighting trained only to the models. Every woman had a “something special” that became the centerpiece of her video. Think: a vibrant make up, a piece of statement jewelry, or a particularly lavish outfit. Ultimately, this simplistic, understated concept paid off in big ways! The polished videos spotlight each woman’s natural beauty with an elegant appeal.

As the evening wrapped up, there was nothing left to do but watch graciously as the videos slowly began to showcase on the internet. To be sure, the ability to share to social media in real time has always been a pillar of any of our services. The women could send the professional videos directly to their phones within minutes of the onsite editing process. And, by offering specific hashtags, theCURVYcon is able to view and track every post made from our InMotion Booth!
