Still Videos for Galentine’s Day

New Service, “Still Videos”, Adds Fun Activation to Galentine’s Day at Boomingdales

We’ve said before that our In-Motion Video Booth was the clear MVP of our 2018 events season. And although we cannot wait to create new videos this year, our team is also looking to innovate the service. Our very first invention is the Still Video. This hybrid service takes a high-fashion photo and uses our on-site editor to turn the image into a moving video!

We were eager to try out the new product, and Bloomingdale’s offered the first opportunity for their Galentine’s Day activation. If you didn’t know, Galentine’s Day was first observed by Leslie Knope in an episode of Parks & Rec that has since transcended the television screen and become a nonofficial holiday on February 13th. It’s a whimsical but empowering day for women to celebrate other women. For our video booth we wanted to create a fun (pink!) experience that would capture women with their besties. Ultimately, we designed a nostalgic Polaroid frame that popped out from a Valentine’s-themed overlay for a playful animation!

A major plus of this new service is that participants are able to share their still photos and videos digitally and walk away with a printed copy. As a hybrid of our original Open-Air Photobooth and newer In-Motion Video Booth, we’re really offering the best of both worlds! Definitely, definitely looking forward to future projects featuring Still Videos!

Keep up to date with all our new projects on our Instagram and Facebook!
